ALLWEST is a 100% employee-owned geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and special inspections firm serving the Inland Northwest and beyond. We have offices located in Hayden, Lewiston and Meridian, Idaho; Missoula, Montana; and Spokane and Tri-Cities, Washington.We are seeking an experienced Environmental Field Technician to support stormwater, water quality and environmental compliance efforts for a large heavy-civil construction project in remote Central Idaho . This is a remote project and anticipated to be a rotational position working approximately 2-3 weeks on and one week off during the construction season (late April through early November, weather permitting), with camp housing and meals provided. This project is expected to span for approximately three years.General ResponsibilitiesConducting SWPPP and BMP inspectionsPerforming stormwater sampling and water quality monitoring (pH, turbidity, conductivity)Maintaining accurate field logs, inspection reports and digital documentationCoordinating with project environmental leads to support regulatory compliance during constructionWork independently in remote terrain during active construction operationsRequirementsCESCL or equivalentDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote field environmentsOther Preferred Certifications:Mine or large civil construction project experienceEnvironmental sampling experienceCross trained in construction materials testingMSHA New Miner Training (part 46)Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer service mindset.Effective verbal and written communications abilities.Strong attention to detail and time management skills.Self-motivated and dependable, with strong judgment and accountability when working aloneValid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.Comfortable using computers and mobile devices such as a tablet to record field data.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and maneuver up to 75 lbs. with assistance.ALLWEST BenefitsWe are proud to be a 100% employee-owned company, which means that strong company performance is rewarded to all members of our team.
