Overview

Senior Finance Manager Remote. Providence is seeking a mission-minded Senior Finance Manager with deep analytical and business insights to support healthcare transformation through financial, strategic, and economic analyses that drive diversification opportunities. The role requires the ability to work through ambiguity, solve problems proactively, drive data-driven insights, and influence senior decision-making at the Executive level. Strategic Finance is a high-impact internal consulting group tackling complex questions within the organization.

In This Position You Will

• Lead and develop advanced financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, capital investment, revenue diversification, partnership and divestiture opportunities for Executive Leadership. Projects are complex with inherent risk and material impact.
• Design and execute market and competitive analyses to support strategy, business development, and long-range financial planning.
• Construct sophisticated financial/economic analyses including ROI optimization; product, customer, and portfolio profitability; and scenario modeling.
• Prepare and deliver actionable insights in written, graphical, and verbal formats to inform senior leadership.
• Provide consulting to system operations, functions, and clinical programs to evaluate opportunities to improve financial performance and/or mission return.
• Connect strategic decisions with financial analysis and assess risks of the status quo.
• Develop and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and leaders across the organization.
• Contribute to the creation of FP&A best practices for planning, forecasting, and analytics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
• 8 years of closely related finance experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive responsibility in business analytics, strategic financial management, strategic planning and/or consulting roles.
• Demonstrated executive presence with strong oral and written communication; ability to distill complex analysis into concise stories.
• Ability to think outside the box and innovate beyond traditional approaches.
• Positive and collaborative demeanor; sense of humor is a plus.
