We are seeking a Public Relations (PR) Manager to build and manage our public relations (PR) programs for both the Offroad and Backcountry verticals. One part storyteller, one part researcher, youll develop and execute PR strategies that secure earned media coverage reaching endemic, regional, and national audiences and shape the way these audiences understand our products and our brand. Reporting to the onX PR and Communications Senior Manager, this role will focus on running an in-house PR program for the Offroad business, and managing an agency who supports the Backcountry business. Responsibilities include managing media relations, developing strategic storytelling, content creation, integrated marketing collaboration, serving as a spokesperson, crafting PR strategy for industry events, monitoring and measuring PR campaign efficacy, and crisis communications and reputation management. The role requires a passion for the outdoors, public land access, and off-roading. Applicants must submit writing samples. Requirements include five or more years of PR experience, a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, understanding of PR in integrated marketing, knowledge of offroad and motorsports industries, excellent communication and project management skills, and permanent US work authorization. The position offers flexibility to work from corporate offices, Basecamps, or Connection Hubs across various US locations. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $106,000 with additional benefits including bonuses, equity, health plans, parental leave, 401k matching, and more. The position is open until filled.
