About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Mortgage Loan Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and directing lenders, working with mortgage loan originators and senior management to meet lending goals, and overseeing the real estate loan approval process. This role involves close collaboration with the mortgage loan underwriting team to ensure consistent loan underwriting, as well as providing guidance to lenders on loan structures and products in line with lending policy and risk appetite. The VP will also be involved in staff training and development, strategic initiative implementation, and will be expected to proactively address lending issues and pursue business networking opportunities within the community.
Applicants for the Vice President position should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate or bachelor's degree in finance or banking preferred. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years' professional experience in mortgage lending, with a strong background in real estate loan management. Key skills include excellent communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, as well as a high level of interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the department and the organization are essential. The role also requires the ability to manage time, resources, and personnel effectively, and to stay abreast of compliance and regulatory laws.
