Director Of Product Management, Xr Solutions

Remote position. The Director of Product Management will lead the Lenovo XR Business Unit's technical product roadmap and long-term strategy. This role will involve owning key relationships for the XR business and overseeing the product management strategy for our end-to-end One Lenovo XR Solutions. The Director will drive the development, execution, and delivery of innovative solutions that extend beyond our current product portfolio, aligning with strategic business goals and technological advancements. The Director will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to build impactful and scalable product management strategies, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the XR technical product strategy and long-term roadmap.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps across hardware, software, and platform layers.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive collaboration and deliver high-impact XR solutions.
  • Manage relationships with strategic technology and business partners to co-develop solutions that address evolving customer needs.
  • Own and track KPIs including Proof-of-Concept success, revenue growth, and partner/stakeholder feedback.
  • Drive voice-of-customer initiatives, user research, and customer feedback loops.
  • Take ownership of the business metrics tied to product success.
  • Ensure successful execution of product initiatives from discovery to delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product management professionals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience with at least 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Expertise in product lifecycle management, road mapping, backlog prioritization, and product discovery.
  • Experience in managing and driving value from strategic long-term relationships with external partners.
  • Deep understanding of E2E industry solutions and emerging technologies within the XR space.
  • Proven track record of managing and influencing multiple internal and external stakeholders across complex programs.
  • Demonstrated success in executing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business-driven outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, business metrics, industry profit pools, and how to drive value through strategic efforts.
  • Ability to align diverse teams and interests toward common goals.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and business growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leaders and external partners.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $200,000 - 240,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovos great benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
