Position: Rehabilitation Support Specialist

What You Will Do:

  • Offer daily encouragement and practical support to individuals in recovery.
  • Engage in group sessions, therapeutic activities, and wellness initiatives.
  • Help clients with everyday tasks like shopping, hiking, or attending important appointments.
  • Collaborate with Case Managers and Therapists to execute personalized recovery plans.
  • Assist clients in overcoming obstacles while recognizing and celebrating their achievements.
  • Create a safe and empowering environment that fosters personal growth.

Schedule & Availability:

  • Full-time positions available
  • Flexible daytime hours
  • Choose from five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
  • Monday-Friday only (enjoy your weekends off!)
Compensation:

$16.50 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Driver's License & Insurance: Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance coverage.
  • Transportation: Provide transportation for clients to and from their appointments.
  • Facilitate Group Activities: Lead recovery-centered group activities that encourage healing and personal development.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Identify barriers impacting clients' independence or community integration.
  • Communication Support: Assist clients in enhancing their communication skills for improved daily interactions.
  • Symptom Management: Collaborate with clients to implement strategies for effectively managing their symptoms.
  • Social Support Development: Support clients in building and strengthening their social support systems.
  • Life Skills Adaptation: Aid clients in adapting their skills across various life domains, including home, work, education, leisure, and social settings.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate assistance during crises to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Training & Development: Complete required training sessions to stay updated with best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
  • Productivity Standards: Meet established productivity goals for the role.
  • Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to meet licensing standards.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality.
  • Meeting Attendance: Participate in necessary meetings for coordinated care.
  • Attendance: Maintain reliable attendance for continuity of care.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Strong commitment to confidentiality and sound discretion is essential.
  • Proactive Approach: Anticipate client needs and provide appropriate support.
  • Sound Judgment: Ability to make informed decisions and exercise good judgment is critical.
  • Positive Attitude: A passion for helping others and a positive mindset are highly valued.
  • Personal Responsibility: Demonstrate responsibility by keeping commitments and actively seeking or offering assistance when needed.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to hygiene standards aligned with workplace culture.
