We are seeking a part time Cytotechnologist to join our Laboratory team at Broadway building. Schedule - variable hours, no weekends or nights. This position:Performs microscopic examination of cytologic specimens, assessing cell characteristics utilizing standardized nomenclature. Prepares tissues and other samples for staining using histological and cytological techniques. Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing special equipment and microscopes. Use lab computer for entering results and maintains records in accordance with CLIA. Performs adequate quality control to ensure optimal patient care and to ensure CLIA QC requirements are met.
