Envirocon is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction projects related to remediation, restoration, and/or demolition. With project values ranging from $500,000 to $25 million, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by managing challenging field projects from planning through execution.

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the primary interface between the corporate support groups and the project management team. You will lead the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and profitability. You will also play a key role in maintaining client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.

This position is project-based and may require extensive travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of project execution, including safety leadership, schedule adherence, resource allocation, cost administration, and contract compliance.
  • Actively support and promote the company's Health and Safety culture through job hazard analyses, safety briefings, and incident reporting.
  • Serve as the key point of contact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular forecasting and reporting on budget and schedule.
  • Direct field operations, leveraging your strong understanding of heavy equipment capabilities and job site logistics.
  • Support training, personnel management, and mentoring for project staff.
  • Engage in pre-construction activities including estimating, planning, and proposal development.
  • Provide business development insights by tracking client relationships and identifying future opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing environmental remediation, civil construction, or geotechnical projects.
  • An equivalent combination of education plus 3 years of field experience with project management responsibilities may be considered.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead diverse project teams and interface with clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Primavera P6 a plus.
  • Understanding of contract administration, project cost controls, and equipment utilization.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid driver's license required.
Additional Information:
  • This is a travel-intensive position. Projects may be located across various regions.
  • Relocation is not required, but flexibility to travel and stay on-site is essential.
