Day Shift (5 am - until done)

Monday - Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Partner with other receiving team members to receive deliveries, break down and sort pallets and stock shelves, fill bulk orders, and maintain the stocking area.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Break down and sort pallets.
• Cut box tops and rotate stock.
• Stock shelves pick bulk orders.
• Maintain tags, location stickers, and stocking area.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Partner with the warehouse team and take direction from supervisors to ensure efficiency.
• Safely and competently operate a forklift, including all required technology and any other materials handling equipment in the warehouse.
• Will perform all tasks safely and to the best of their ability and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Forklift experience preferred. Must be willing to train on equipment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Must understand and follow warehouse practices and procedures.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be physically able to access all areas of the warehouse.
• Must be open to receiving on-the-job training by supervisory personnel.
• Must be able to report to work on time and ready to work, as well as work overtime when requested.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience doing similar work is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift and transport a minimum of 30 lbs. consistently and up to 70 lbs. intermittently.
• Must be able to stoop, twist, bend, squat, kneel, reach at, below, or above the shoulder.
• Must be able to walk and stand on concrete floors for up to 12 hours daily.
• Maintain performance in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution quotas and standards.
• Tolerate temperatures ranging from (-) 20 degrees in the freezer to 115 degrees in the truck van.
