Description:

The IT Data Warehouse Manager leads the Data Warehouse Team and ensures that customer issues are addressed within established SLA timeframes. This position is responsible for managing the IT Data Warehouse Team to deliver accurate, timely, and secure data, managing individual performance, and ensuring sustained quality via metrics and measurables. The IT Data Warehouse Manager monitors the IT Data Warehouse Team's operations and manages workflows, assignments, and ticket management through closure. This position supports day-to-day operations and promotes cohesiveness in an office environment.

JOB DUTIES

  • Responsible for the overall design, development, and architecture of data warehousing and data mart systems and services for the entire enterprise.
  • Communicate effectively and be a focal point for the IT Data Team for communications. Develop processes for communicating work between programmers, analysts, and architects.
  • Liaison with functional leaders from a strategic perspective to identify and maximize opportunities in utilizing data warehouse systems or data marts to improve organizational processes. Collaborate with stakeholders regarding the delivery of services.
  • Communicate with ERP personnel to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
  • Lead assigned initiatives, coordination, and implementation of data projects.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Manage enterprise data management, data warehouse, support, monitoring, and other data initiatives. Manage database infrastructure and cloud-based designs, improvements, and implementations.
  • Monitor and manage data flows between infrastructures.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate all Data Warehouse employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or other STEM degree.
  • Five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have experience working with Microsoft tools and technologies to develop custom software solutions.
  • Design, development, and implementation of enterprise data warehouse solutions.
  • Data Modeling Experience.
  • Analytics and Data Platform Experience (Microsoft Fabric).
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an IT setting.
  • Be able to successfully pass a background screening.
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements.
  • Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position.

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
